1. Booking & Payment

1. A booking is confirmed once the required deposit or full payment is received.
2. Payment schedules and amounts will be communicated at the time of booking.
3. All prices are quoted in agreed currency and may change due to unforeseen circumstances such as government taxes or permit fees.

2. Cancellations & Refunds

1. Cancellation requests must be made in writing.
2. Refunds, if applicable, depend on the timing of cancellation and services already arranged.
3. No refunds are provided for unused services, early departures, or changes made by the client during the trip.

3. Changes to Itineraries

1. Karakoram Treks reserves the right to modify itineraries due to weather conditions, safety concerns, road conditions, political situations, or other factors beyond our control.

2. Any changes will be made in the best interest of client safety and trip success.

4. Health & Fitness

1. Clients must ensure they are physically and mentally fit for the chosen activity.

2. It is the client’s responsibility to disclose any medical conditions before the trip.

3. Karakoram Treks is not responsible for health issues arising during the journey.

5. Safety & Risk Acknowledgement

1. Trekking, mountaineering, and adventure travel involve inherent risks, including injury, illness, altitude sickness, and natural hazards.

2. By participating, clients acknowledge these risks and agree to take responsibility for their own actions.

3. Our guides’ decisions regarding safety are final and must be followed at all times.

6. Travel Insurance

1. Comprehensive travel insurance, including coverage for high-altitude trekking and emergency evacuation, is mandatory for all clients.

2. Proof of insurance may be required before the start of the trip.

7. Permits & Documentation

1. Karakoram Treks assists with required permits where applicable.

2. Clients are responsible for ensuring their passports, visas, and travel documents are valid.

3. Any delays caused by incomplete documentation are not our responsibility.

8. Responsibility & Liability

1. Karakoram Treks is not liable for loss, damage, injury, illness, delays, or expenses caused by factors beyond our control, including weather, natural disasters, or government actions.

2. Personal belongings remain the responsibility of the client at all times.

9. Behavior & Conduct

1. Clients are expected to respect local culture, customs, and the environment.

2. We reserve the right to remove any participant whose behavior endangers others or disrupts the trip, without refund.

10. Responsible Tourism

1. Clients agree to follow responsible tourism practices, including waste management, cultural respect, and environmental protection.

11. Photography & Media

1. Karakoram Treks may use photographs or videos taken during trips for promotional purposes unless the client requests otherwise in writing.

12. Governing Law

1. These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of Pakistan.

2. Any disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of Pakistani courts.
