1. Booking & Payment<\/b><\/h2>
  1. A booking is confirmed once the required deposit or full payment is received.<\/li>
  2. Payment schedules and amounts will be communicated at the time of booking.<\/li>
  3. All prices are quoted in agreed currency and may change due to unforeseen circumstances such as government taxes or permit fees.<\/li><\/ol>

    2. Cancellations & Refunds<\/b><\/h2>
    1. Cancellation requests must be made in writing.<\/li>
    2. Refunds, if applicable, depend on the timing of cancellation and services already arranged.<\/li>
    3. No refunds are provided for unused services, early departures, or changes made by the client during the trip.<\/li><\/ol>

      3. Changes to Itineraries<\/b><\/h2>

      1. Karakoram Treks reserves the right to modify itineraries due to weather conditions, safety concerns, road conditions, political situations, or other factors beyond our control.<\/p><\/li>

      2. Any changes will be made in the best interest of client safety and trip success.<\/p><\/li><\/ol>

        4. Health & Fitness<\/b><\/h2>

        1. Clients must ensure they are physically and mentally fit for the chosen activity.<\/p><\/li>

        2. It is the client\u2019s responsibility to disclose any medical conditions before the trip.<\/p><\/li>

        3. Karakoram Treks is not responsible for health issues arising during the journey.<\/p><\/li><\/ol>

          5. Safety & Risk Acknowledgement<\/b><\/h2>

          1. Trekking, mountaineering, and adventure travel involve inherent risks, including injury, illness, altitude sickness, and natural hazards.<\/p><\/li>

          2. By participating, clients acknowledge these risks and agree to take responsibility for their own actions.<\/p><\/li>

          3. Our guides\u2019 decisions regarding safety are final and must be followed at all times.<\/p><\/li><\/ol>

            6. Travel Insurance<\/b><\/h2>

            1. Comprehensive travel insurance, including coverage for high-altitude trekking and emergency evacuation, is mandatory for all clients.<\/p><\/li>

            2. Proof of insurance may be required before the start of the trip.<\/p><\/li><\/ol>

              7. Permits & Documentation<\/b><\/h2>

              1. Karakoram Treks assists with required permits where applicable.<\/p><\/li>

              2. Clients are responsible for ensuring their passports, visas, and travel documents are valid.<\/p><\/li>

              3. Any delays caused by incomplete documentation are not our responsibility.<\/p><\/li><\/ol>

                8. Responsibility & Liability<\/b><\/h2>

                1. Karakoram Treks is not liable for loss, damage, injury, illness, delays, or expenses caused by factors beyond our control, including weather, natural disasters, or government actions.<\/p><\/li>

                2. Personal belongings remain the responsibility of the client at all times.<\/p><\/li><\/ol>

                  9. Behavior & Conduct<\/b><\/h2>

                  1. Clients are expected to respect local culture, customs, and the environment.<\/p><\/li>

                  2. We reserve the right to remove any participant whose behavior endangers others or disrupts the trip, without refund.<\/p><\/li><\/ol>

                    10. Responsible Tourism<\/b><\/h2>

                    1. Clients agree to follow responsible tourism practices, including waste management, cultural respect, and environmental protection.<\/p><\/li><\/ol>

                      11. Photography & Media<\/b><\/h2>

                      1. Karakoram Treks may use photographs or videos taken during trips for promotional purposes unless the client requests otherwise in writing.<\/p><\/li><\/ol>

                        12. Governing Law<\/b><\/h2>

                        1. These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of Pakistan.<\/p><\/li>

                        2. Any disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of Pakistani courts.<\/p><\/li><\/ol>
